Chamamos de recriação e não réplica, porque o automóvel conta com muitas peças originais, que foram do Espartano #48, cedidas ao Puma Clube, graciosamente por José Martins, o piloto que fez sua fama a bordo desse bólido. Rodas, tanque 60 litros de combustível, bolhas dos faróis, lanternas, coroa e pinhão do diferencial autoblocante, tinta com a cor verde e mais algumas coisinhas eram daquele carro que desapareceu em meados dos anos 1970. Na época o José Martins vendeu apenas a carroceria, que o comprador colocou em cima de um Puma de rua. Em um momento, essa pessoa se acidentou com o Puma, ficando completamente destruído e seu dono, vindo a falecer.<br />
Então, com essas peças, mais um Puma 1971 e com a ajuda do José Martins começamos a recriação.<br />
Depois de um período de hibernação por pura falta de tempo e profissionais capacitados, ele voltou.<br />

O teto teve que ser totalmente refeito em virtude de consertos mal executados ao longo da vida desse Puma. Como não tínhamos nenhum outro de modelo, o jeito foi O Benedito fazer como na época em que trabalhava na Sulam, recriando um novo teto, de acordo com as laterais e para-brisa original.<br />

Em junho, depois de terminada a construção, o Puma entrou na funilaria. Uma vez terminada, o próximo passo a pintura. Aqui, já aplicado o gel primer para proteger a fibra de vidro e não acontecer de criar bolhas no futuro.<br />

O anuncio foi veiculado na revista Quatro Rodas de junho de 1979, a dica foi do meu amigo Sylvio Fujioka.<br />
A Zune era uma loja de acessórios de alto padrão, depois de algum tempo de sucesso começou a produzir seus produtos ou licenciar produtos com sua marca.<br />
A grande moda do começo dos anos 1970 era o console. Carros americanos ostentavam enormes consoles separando os bancos individuais e a preferência brasileira já tinha se voltado para esse modelo de bancos, ninguém queria mais os bancos inteiriços. E com bancos individuais ficava faltando algo para ocupar aquele espaço que só tinha a alavanca de cambio.<br />
Os fabricantes começaram a instalar consoles em seus modelos, e proprietários instalavam em modelos que não tinham. Foi uma febre de consoles de tudo quanto é tipo e tamanho.<br />
Já no final dessa década, quase todos os modelos montados no Brasil tinham console (quase, porque VW popular sempre foi bem simples). Aí entra as empresas de grife como a Zune. Ela fornecia um console mais luxuoso, melhor desenhado e com acabamento superior ao de fabrica e nisso, muitos veículos como Puma, Alfa Romeo e Dogde Polara, como na propaganda, tinham console mas eram substituídos por esse mais luxuosos.<br />
No caso Puma, nessa época, o console original era baixo e curto. A Zune fornecia este da imagem, que abrangia do painel até o final do encosto dos bancos e mais, com o tecido original dos bancos lançados em 1979. Neste caso do anuncio, o tecido listado era marrom e bege, mas existiam os tecidos listados em cinza e azul.<br />

No dia 25 de novembro de 1974 no jornal diário "A Tribuna", da cidade de Santos-SP saiu um artigo mencionando o Mini-Puma presente no Salão do Automóvel daquele ano, há 42 anos. A descoberta foi do meu amigo Eduardo Rodrigues, jornalista de Santos.</div>

Interessante o texto, só vem corroborar minha tese que a Puma estava anos a frente da concorrência. Tudo que se lê no artigo parece bem atual, veículo barato, econômico, fácil manutenção, eficiente, espaçoso e com linhas modernas. Até nos problemas, o assunto parece atual, o governo não libera o empréstimo para a construção da nova fabrica.</div>

Há alguns dias recebi essas fotos e a pergunta do Vilson Toledo Pires sobre que modelo era esse do caminhão Puma, diferente de todos os outros conhecidos e ainda por cima com a sigla CX3/4.<br />

Este seria o mesmo caso da reportagem anterior, cabine Puma para ser instalada no chassi do Mercedes 608D, com essa frente puxada, como no "Mercedinho".<br />
Estranha são as modificações que não parecem caseiras. Quando o Vilson disse que o ano era 1987, a conclusão foi imediata, cabine fabricada pela Araucária, deveria ser sobra da Puma - São Paulo, que eles venderam para alguém colocar em um 608D. E o nome CX 3/4 é bem a cara do meu amigo Rubens Rossatto, diretor da Alfa Metais e apaixonado por caminhões como eu. No Puma GTB conversível ele o chamou de C3. Não sei qual o significado do "C", descobrirei.<br />

O caminhão médio Puma 914 substituiu o Puma 4.T em 1990, já fabricado na Alfa Metais em Curitiba-PR. Sua aparência era basicamente a mesma do 4.T. Em 1992 diminuíram a grade frontal, trocaram os faróis por outros retangulares, acrescentaram a escada lateral da subida da porta e pequenos detalhes foram sendo melhorados. Continuava com o desenho de porta igual dos dois lados, a porta direita servia na esquerda e vice e versa, apenas mudava a posição das dobradiças e maçanetas. As portas traseiras eram as mesmas da dianteira.<br />
O Puma 914 foi fabricado até 1997, quando entrou o Puma 7900 que já vimos <a href="http://www.pumaclassic.com.br/2010/09/catalogo-puma-7900-cb.html" target="_blank">aqui</a>. Este era mais elaborado e não tinha as porta iguais, piorando o custo de fabricação, mas melhorando a praticidade e conforto. A produção de caminhões e a fabrica Puma foi encerrada em 1999, na falência do Grupo Alfa Metais.<br />
O 914, foi recebendo melhorias e este para-choque dianteiro envolvente com duplo faróis de neblina surgiu em 1994.<br />
O caminhão vinha com Manual do proprietário bem completo, sempre ostentando o emblema da cara da fera.<br />

O evento foi ótimo, agradável e como deve ser o Encontro Nacional, um evento para reunião dos amigos e confraternização. Foi através desses Encontros que muitos amigos se conheceram pessoalmente, que outros integraram o grupo e agora muitos acompanham. Não é um evento para a grandiosidade Puma, essa, nem precisamos falar, já é bem conhecida, é um evento para as pessoas apaixonadas pela marca Puma e a cidade de Pirenópolis em Goias, se saiu muito bem nisso, porque é aconchegante, fraterna e singular, além é claro da boa comida e hospitalidade. Muitos podem ter falado que a cidade era longe para um evento, mas tudo depende do ponto de partida. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: black; color: #cccccc;">Quando foi realizado em Florianópolis, muitos acharam bonito a quantidade de Puma que vieram de Brasília, rodando por quase dois mil quilômetros. Outros vieram da cidade vizinha Joinville. Muitos rodaram mais de quatrocentos quilômetros para chegar em Floripa. Então, o Encontro Nacional é assim mesmo, uma hora perto para uns, outra hora mais perto para outros, mas sempre próximo de uma turma de pumeiros. </span><br />
<span style="background-color: black; color: #cccccc;">O mais importante é comparecer e se apresentar aos amigos, afinal conhecer, todos se conhecem pela Internet, mas não existe nada igual ao calor e olhar humano, principalmente com um forte abraço. Infelizmente esse ano não pude abraçar todos meus amigos no Encontro Nacional, mas meu coração, mesmo que capenga, bateu forte ao ver as fotografias dos amigos e dos lindos Puma expostos. </span><br />

Para o pessoal de São Paulo - Capital, o ponto de encontro é no posto de combustível BR da Rodovia dos Bandeirantes , km 29 às 9:00 horas no domingo dia 28/8. De lá, seguiremos pela Rodovia dos Bandeirantes até o km 47 saindo para a rodovia Anhanguera, nesta, na saída 55, pegamos em direção a Avenida Nove de Julho até o local do evento, que fica do lado esquerda do nosso sentido.<br />

Esses interruptores que acionam a lanterna e luz baixa, na primeira tecla; luz dos instrumentos do painel na segunda tecla; e sem função na maioria dos veículos, porque essa última tecla que na imagem tem o grafismo de um ponto era reservada para quando o modelo coupê GTE / GTI tivesse vidro traseiro térmico, nesse caso, o grafismo vinha uma resistência. No GTS / GTC sempre foi o grafismo ponto e botão sem função.<br />
Agora vamos tratar da recuperação dessas teclas, já que são muito difíceis de encontrar para reposição. O leitor Nelson Meyer de Canela-RS, nos fala de todo o processo:<br />

<i>O mecanismo interno é muito simples e resistente.</i><br />
<i>Para retirar o tubinho de alumínio usei uma broca para metal para desbastar a parte que segura no plástico, como um rebite.</i><br />

<i> Limpei com benzina sólida e lubrifiquei internamente com vaselina industrial para não atacar o plástico, pois elas costumam travar ao longo do uso.</i><br />
<i>Aproveitei e fiz um polimento nas partes plásticas com massa de polir n° 2, recuperando a aparência original e retirando riscos suaves. </i><br />
<i>Na hora da montagem, para manter as molas e esferas no lugar, "grudei-as" com vaselina. Para fixar novamente o tubinho, bati levemente em sua ponta com uma chave de fenda e pequeno martelo, o suficiente para não sair do lugar.</i><br />

Interessante notar, que as carrocerias não eram laminadas com essas aberturas, elas eram instaladas posteriormente. A marcação do furo das lanternas existia, pois há um degrau para encaixe.</div>

Com o lançamento do Puma GTE em 1970, essas tomadas de ar tiveram uma ligeira modificação, agora um pouco menores e diminuindo bem da primeira abertura até a última. Apesar desses modelos receberem ar para a parte interna, logo abaixo do para-brisa, as aberturas embaixo dos para-choques continuaram a existir sem função.<br />

O Puma GTE 1970 de Reiner Dorsch na Alemanha. Muito original, a parte traseira inteira está perfeita, com as lanternas traseiras vindas do Saab Sonet III, dobradiças do capô traseiro do Renault Gordini, frisos no vidro traseiro, saídas de ar da parte baixa do motor corretas, capas dos para-choques cromadas e por fim, os emblemas Puma GT 1600 S.
